Red all over
Today is National Wear Red Day, in which the American Heart Association encourages men and women to wear red to raise awareness of heart disease and stroke. The Heart Association reports that heart disease is the No. 1 killer of American women — and of men.
Employees at Wichita's Associated Advertising participated. Shawn Steward, public relations director, explained that the staff there is 50 percent women and that Associated made a donation to the Heart Association on behalf of each employee.
Did you wear red today or do you plan to tonight? E-mail a photo of yourself to wichitalk@wichitaeagle.com. Cell phone photos are fine.
