Associated adds Sean Amore as Public Relations Manager
WICHITA, Kan. – Jan. 24, 2008 – Associated announced today the agency added Sean Amore as public relations manager. Amore brings more than a decade of public relations experience in both the corporate and agency settings to Associated and its clients.
Recently, Amore performed media relations duties for IBM in Somers, N.Y. While at IBM, he expanded the company’s radio presence while directing media relations strategies for its virtualization technologies, the newly formed IT Optimization business unit and IBM’s “green” technology initiative, Project Big Green.
Amore holds a B.A. in Mass Communications and Political Science from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Conn. He earned a master’s degree in Political Management and Corporate Public Affairs from the George Washington University in Washington, DC.

Amore’s specialties include “emerging” public relations tools such as blogging, podcasting and social networking. His experience also spans traditional PR efforts including running full-scale media and community relations campaigns, providing media and message training, and executing press conferences and special events.
