Associated names new public relations coordinator
 WICHITA, Kan. – June 11, 2007 – Associated has hired Lindsay Pestinger as a public relations coordinator. Pestinger graduated from the University of Kansas in May with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and strategic communication.
While at KU, Pestinger interned at Barkley, a Kansas City, Mo.-based advertising agency, working on local, regional and national media outreach for brands such as Sonic and CITGO. She has also held internship positions at KAKE-TV and Women’s Focus magazine in Wichita.
As a public relations coordinator, Pestinger will work with the agency’s public relations department writing news releases, conducting media pitches, assisting in research and supporting Associated in a variety of other public relations and marketing initiatives.
