| Associated appoints first director of employee morale
 WICHITA , Kan. Associated Advertising has appointed its first director of employee morale.
After careful consideration and a month-long interview process, Tibet a 3-year-old full-bred Shih Tzu, otherwise known as a puppy dog was chosen for this elite position. Although she has no formal training, Tibet 's expertise is focused in lifting spirits, encouraging collaboration, warming hearts and occasionally creating the need for random acts of public service.
Tibet is active in all aspects of the agency's operations. Aside from attending creative meetings and conference calls, she makes her way around the agency, immersing herself in the daily lives of all the employees and clients she encounters.
At first, we took in Tibet to be charitable in the midst of a difficult situation for the small pup, says Associated CEO Mike Snyder. Then, we realized we really liked her, and she liked us. So, we've adopted her and treat her as one of our own.
Snyder continued, It really is amazing to see how much impact she has in the daily course of our work. Clients and visitors engage her warmly as well. I originally voted for a ferret, but Tibet is working out just fine.
